How long does it take for my campaign to go live?

This will depend on the number of vehicles selected and the regions/locations that are targeted. However, our average "campaign preparation period" is no longer than two weeks for all the vehicles selected to be ad-wrapped at either our national network of wrap suppliers or at designated wrapping locations.

What is your pricing model?

Adverttu operates a monthly rental fee plus a monthly mileage fee charged for every vehicle in your Adverttu on-car ad campaign. Our mileage fee range is between £0.15 - £0.45 dependant on the targeted location population density and audience socio-demographic data profile. Can I use the selected vehicle Driver to hand-out marketing materials during the ad campaign?

We encourage our brand partners to provide marketing materials, especially if they are discount or coupon offers, so that when appropriate, they can be handed to curious/engaged consumers who frequently ask our drivers about the brand advertiser on their car. We also provide a dedicated product/leaflet drop facility which includes a fee to incentivise our drivers to target specific locations and events – again just drop us a mail at myteam@adverttu.com for detailed pricing for both our product/leaflet drop proposition as well as our vehicle ‘swarming’ ‘experiential marketing’ solutions.

How do you select vehicles & drivers for our campaign?

You simply tell us the specific location/s you’re looking to target with your on-car ad campaign, plus the duration and the number of vehicles you want to include. Our matching algorithm will select the appropriate vehicles/drivers that match your criteria according to their regular journey profile. Alternatively, you can give us a campaign brief that provides the targeted audience profile/s, specific location/s and an indication of the audience reach objectives (e.g. total number of impressions anticipated) and our campaign simulation functionality will predict these campaign metrics for you including the resultant £CPM campaign cost.

How do stickers/vinyl decals affect a driver’s insurance or leasing agreement?

The legal arrangement Adverttu structures with our signed up vehicle drivers are that of an independent contractor. We contract the ‘rights’ to put our client’s brand on their car. We explicitly state that the drivers are never to drive around for the specific purpose of advertising or promotion but are simply driving around according to their regular lifestyle & commuting motoring habits - this ensures that the driver's personal car insurance liability coverage stays intact. If an accident occurs, the driver's personal motor insurance policy liability cover is applicable because they were driving for personal reasons and not for direct commercial gain.

How do you prove the wrap is still on an Adverttu car and that it is in good condition and is safe and secure?

When an ad campaign starts, Adverttu’s drivers are obligated to send photos of their clean and well maintained vehicles on a weekly basis as this visual evidence releases their monthly payments along with Adverttu’s technology platform that also ensures the vehicles journey profile and recorded mileage matches the location and target audience campaign planning parameters.

What if an Adverttu driver has an accident/collision or motoring incident?

If a collision/accident or incident occurs with one of our drivers/vehicles then they promptly notify us, which in turn gets passed back to the ad agency or advertiser client. The decal/vinyl ad wrap is then removed from the car and a replacement vehicle/driver is immediatly sourced and used for the remaining duration of the campaign. This is a rare occurrence as all of our drivers have been screened to ensure a clean driving licence and the highest degree of safe driving.

Who are your drivers?

Adverttu’s drivers are safe, high-mileage drivers who want to make some extra disposable ‘passive income’ by simply driving around with a brand advertiser ad wrapped on their car. It’s a passive side income for doing something they’re already doing – driving around as normal. To be more specific, as most of our drivers are fully employed, local motorists, they therefore have a consistent journey profile and generally have a 2009 model car or newer. They have also opted into the specific ‘brand’ campaign, so a brand empathy is therefore established from the start.

How do you calculate impressions (OTS)?

Our clients have access to Adverttu’s online platform that provides easy access to their on-car ad campaign’s reporting dashboard, enabling them to monitor, assess, amend or extend their existing ad campaign. Adverttu’s competitive edge lies within our leading edge Telemetry & Data Analytics functionalities that utilises various datasets ranging from our mobile application’s GPS monitoring plus a range of 28 additional data inputs that feed our algorithm’s. They accurately predict the campaign’s cumulative ‘impressions’ count in real time, leveraging computer vision, AI and machine learning techniques to calculate and accurately predict the number of impressions each Adverttu vehicle generates. We base the OTS outcome on the simultaneous analysis of a range of influencing parameters such as latitude/longitude location cordinates, vehicle type/size, pedestrian & motoring traffic audience densities, time of day, seasonality, local weather conditions plus an eclectic mix of other relevant datapoints that accurately calculates total OTS impressions delivered by each unique ad wrapped vehicle’s journey profile.

How much exposure is one Adverttu Driver equal to?

Each Adverttu Driver is equivalent to a baseline of 600 miles per month and an average of between 7500 to 12,000 impressions per day. These averages vary according to the specific target locations, audience densities, seasonality and other factors that impact the OTS count.
